IMG_0537The USC Black Alumni Association is a leadership network established to strengthen the legacy of educational attainment and excellence of USC black students. The BAA provides scholarship assistance; career mentoring and cultural advocacy through alumni volunteer involvement, philanthropy, and social enterprise. I’m picture here with the awesome BAA Executive Director, Dr. Michéle Turner, after our planning meeting yesterday. There is still time to register for the Get Savvy College Summit REGISTRATION LINKIt’s never too early to plan for your child’s future success! Join us for a morning panel and afternoon small group workshops with experts in college placement, financial planning, and education. Students attending with their parents will have the opportunity to tour USC and participate in their own workshop. The morning panel is free for all attendees (limited to 200 participants). There is a fee for the afternoon parent workshops. Student workshops and tours are free (limited to 40 participants); afternoon parent workshop attendance is limited to 50 participants in each workshop. Box lunch is included with afternoon parent and student workshop registration. REGISTRATION CLOSES APRIL 26 AT 6:00 PM.
